Our ECO Sprouter kit is a plastic-free solution for growing sprouts and micro-greens. Including a one-litre Italian sprouting jar, handmade ceramic stand, and 316 stainless steel sprouting lid.
The glass jar and angle provide optimum humidity and water drainage to create the ideal sprouting environment. While the thoughtfully designed water channel means the stand won’t overflow with excess water. Overall this natural, durable, and beautiful sprouter kit fit timelessly into any kitchen.
Born out of necessity, designed in Devon.
We wanted a sprouter kit that would produce sprouts stylishly, effortlessly and with minimal environmental impact. No more eyesores in the kitchen in the form of gorilla-sprouting in bowls, plastic monstrosities, or giant terracotta towers. As a result, the Eco sprouting kit was born!
The sprouter kit works perfectly for soaks and micro-greens such as pumpkin seeds and alfalfa. The sprouter kit works well with almost all seed varieties, including but not limited to: grains, pseudo-grains, nuts, beans, broccoli, kale, herbs, cress and rape.
Here at Plant Generation, we use ours daily for broccoli and lentil sprouts. Generally, one jar can yield up to 300 grams of broccoli sprouts at a time—notably enough for six clinical doses of sulforaphane. After sprouting, the jar can store your sprouts in the fridge with the included solid lid piece.
Sprouter instructions
Soak seeds in the jar with filtered water for 8-12 hours or overnight. Next, drain and rinse the seeds through the steel mesh—no need to remove the lid. Place the jar on its ceramic stand and leave the seeds to germinate. Then rinse and drain the seeds twice daily in the morning and evening until sprouts are ready to harvest. Enjoy! New to sprouting?
